Mr. Warner oversees all new lending and acquisitions. He is responsible for underwriting potential investments, compiling due diligence, and closing new transactions. In addition, Mr. Warner is also involved in other activities associated with the day-to-day operation of the finance company.
Mr. Warner’s last position was at Jones Lang LaSalle. Mr. Warner worked with the international advisory/banking group for the lodging and gaming industry. His responsibilities included preparing presentations for deals throughout the United States and Canada, performing appraisals, management company selection, and advising public companies on business development strategies, real estate acquisitions/dispositions, and financing.
Prior to joining JLL, he served as Senior Associate of HVS International. Mr. Warner conducted consulting and valuation assignments for clients such as the Bank of Bermuda, Strategic Hotel Capital, GMAC, GE Capital, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, the City of Omaha, the City of Glen Cove, and dozens of other internationally recognized organizations. Mr. Warner worked on all types of lodging assets from inns to convention and resort hotels throughout North America and the Caribbean. During his employment with HVS, Mr. Warner was involved in the valuation or consultation of over $1.1 billion of assets.
Mr. Warner received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He serves as the Industry Relations Chair for the New York City Metropolitan alumni chapter of the Cornell Hotel Society. Erik has been published in a multitude of nationally recognized hotel and real estate publications.
